- Set Mode lever to DEF position.
- Remove mode wire from clip A Fig. .
- Align set pin hole at B of link with matching hole of heater unit. Using .24 inch diameter pin, align link to correct position.

- Remove combination lamps from both sides of radiator grill.
- Remove radiator grill attaching screws, then the grill.
- Remove receiver/drier mounting nuts.
- Disconnect liquid hose and liquid pipe from receiver/drier. Immediately plug open fittings, to prevent any moisture from entering the system.
- Remove receiver/drier from vehicle.

- Remove glove compartment undercover panel, then glove compartment.
- Disconnect intake and discharge lines from cooling unit fittings.
- Remove cooling unit line grommets then, glove compartment.
- Disconnect A/C wire harness connectors.
- Remove seal plates, drain hose, cooling unit attaching nuts, then the cooling unit.
- Reverse procedure to install.
