- Remove air cleaner assembly including mounting stud and air cleaner duct.
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Drain engine cooling system into a suitable container.
- Remove engine strut brace bolts from upper mounting panel and rotate struts rearward.
- Disconnect cooling fan electrical connector.
- Remove cooling fan attaching bolts and cooling fan.
- Remove coolant recovery tank hose from radiator neck.
- Remove upper radiator hose clamp.
