Import Compressor Service -> York & Tecumseh Compressors -> SHAFT SEAL, REPLACE -> Installation -> Removal -> VR4709 COMPRESSOR -> YORK CF206, SC206 & TECUMSEH COMPRESSORS

- Remove oil fill plug and O-ring and drain compressor oil.
- Remove clutch.
- Remove shaft key from crankshaft.
- Remove seal plate.
- Using suitable compressor seal puller, pull out seal and discard. Do not use screwdriver to pry shaft seal from shaft.
- Clean shaft and seal cavity with suitable cloth.
- Dip seal in clean refrigerant oil.
- Push seal assembly, except carbon ring, over end of shaft with carbon ring retainer facing out.
- Move seal assembly into position on shaft.

BRAKE PADS, REPLACE
- Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove rear wheels and tires.
- Using a suitable punch, remove lockpins and spring clips, then remove pads.
- Using a suitable clamp, press pistons back into bore.
- Install new pads, then replace lockpins and spring clips.
- Install wheels and lower vehicle. After replacing pads on any disc brake system, caliper pistons will be retracted in their bores and will require at least one full...

- Disconnect battery ground cable at battery.
- Detach pipe from control module box.
- Remove auxiliaries belt.
- Remove power steering pump and place it on top of engine.
- Remove upper bolt.
- Remove bolts common to alternator and compressor; lower bolts on alternator and upper bolts on compressor.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Loosen lower bolts for compressor (so that there is some clearance).
- Remove air baffle.
- Lower vehicle.
- Disconnect warning lamp positive lead and connector from alternator.
