- Discharge refrigerant from system, then drain cooling system.
- Remove fan shroud and radiator hoses, then disconnect transmission cooler lines if equipped.
- Disconnect A/C lines from condenser. Plug all open lines to prevent entry of dirt and moisture into system.
- Remove radiator and condenser as an assembly.
- Remove attaching screws and separate radiator and condenser.
- Remove receiver-drier from the condenser.

- Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel.
- Remove caliper as outlined under "Caliper Service." It is not necessary to disconnect brake line from caliper, but caliper must be supported at all times to prevent brake line damage.

This Emission Maintenance Reminder System (Maintenance Required Lamp) is incorporated into the engine controller. The controller stores vehicle mileage into its memory every eight miles, then at 60,000, 82,500 or 120,000 miles it will light the EMR (Maintenance Required) lamp. When the indicated mileage is reached or the EMR lamp is on at all times, the following components must be replaced and the EMR lamp reset:
