- Loosen and remove drive belts.
- Remove compressor attaching blots.
- Remove compressor. Removal of refrigerant lines is not necessary.
- Install two six millimeter bolts to threaded holes in clutch plate.
- Using two wrenches, hold compressor shaft from turning and remove compressor shaft bolt.
- Tap clutch plate with a plastic hammer and remove clutch plate and shims. Do not use pry tools to remove clutch plate.

- Using an A/C recovery unit, remove all refrigerant from A/C system.
- Remove and cap refrigerant lines from condenser.
- Remove coolant overflow bottle, electric cooling fans and radiator assembly, then remove turbocharger intercooler, if equipped.
- Remove condenser to radiator mounting bolts, then slip condenser from lower radiator mounting bracket.
- Remove condenser from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install. Replace all O-rings and gaskets and coat surfaces with refrigerant oil.
