- Remove the engine cover, then disconnect electrical connectors from compressor and clutch.
- Loosen idle pulley and disconnect compressor drive belt.
- Remove compressor manifold retaining bolt and manifold from rear of compressor, then cap all connections.
- Remove carburetor vacuum break to provide clearance, if necessary.
- Remove bolts securing compressor to mounting bracket, then the compressor, Fig. .
