BMW -> Component Replacement & Adjustment -> CONDENSER, REPLACE -> 325 -> 525 & 535

- Remove engine fan.
- Loosen radiator mounts and push radiator towards engine.
- Using suitable valve core remover, evacuate A/C system pressure.
- Remove right grille section for access.
- Disconnect refrigerant lines from condenser and plug openings immediately.
- Disconnect condenser fan wiring.
- Remove mounting bolts, then remove condenser from above.
- Remove fan from condenser.
- Inspect condenser cooling fins, and if necessary, straighten with suitable tool.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

- Drain cooling system, then remove cowl panel grille screen and electric wire duct.
- Loosen mounting bolts, then remove air collection box. Air collection box may be difficult to remove.
- Remove water flange and blow air into feed hose to prevent residual coolant in heater core from leaking on interior carpeting.
- Remove lower instrument panel securing nuts.
- Pry out lower trim panel, then remove heater core double pipe.
- Remove securing screw, then remove heater core.
- Reverse procedure to install.
