- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Loosen and remove drive belts.
- Remove compressor attaching blots.
- Remove compressor. Removal of refrigerant lines is not necessary.
- Install two six millimeter bolts to threaded holes in clutch plate.
- Using two wrenches, hold compressor shaft from turning and remove compressor shaft bolt.
- Tap clutch plate with a plastic hammer and remove clutch plate and shims. Do not use pry tools to remove clutch plate.
