- Install Support and Clamp Assembly tool No. T81P-19623-D (FS-6) or T81P-19623-LH (6P148), or equivalents, on compressor to retain cylinder assembly and front head in position, Fig. . Clamp tool in suitable vise.
- Hold rear head and remove six through bolts from cylinder head assembly.

- Remove engine cooling fan and shroud.
- Release belt tensioner and remove accessory drive belt.
- Remove water pump pulley mounting bolts, then remove water pump pulley.
- Loosen mounting bolts and remove water pump.
- Reverse procedure to install. Replace O-ring and torque to 15-22 ft. lbs.
