- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove glove compartment and sound insulator.
- Disconnect recirc actuator electrical connector.
- Remove side cowl trim panel.
- Remove instrument panel lower right-to-side cowl attaching bolt.
- Remove support bracket-to-air inlet duct attaching screw.
- Remove five recirc duct-to-evaporator housing attaching screws, then the duct.
- Remove push nut from pin on actuator arm and disconnect link.

Compressor oil level should be checked whenever system is discharged for service part replacement or after rapid loss of refrigerant.
This compressor is a high speed unit. Proper operation requires sufficient lubrication, but excess oil will reduce cooling efficiency.
