- Discharge A/C refrigerant using a suitable recovery/recycling device, then remove condenser liquid line at receiver/drier.
- Remove expansion valve liquid line at receiver/drier, then remove receiver/drier bracket bolt.
- While system is open, plug liquid lines and condenser threaded fitting to prevent entry of moisture.
- Remove receiver/drier from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install. Torque lines at receiver/drier to 125 inch lbs.

It may be required to access and record all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) prior to disarming the air bag system.
- Place ignition switch in Lock position.
- Disconnect and isolate battery ground cable.
- Wait at least two minutes after disconnecting battery ground cable before doing any further work on vehicle. The air bag system is designed to retain enough voltage to deploy air bags for a short time even after battery has been disconnected.
