- Drain engine coolant into suitable container, then remove thermostat in numbered sequence shown, Figs. and . Place mating marks on hoses and clamps for installation reference.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- On Avenger and Sebring, ensure thermostat is installed with jiggle valve positioned as shown, Fig. .
- On all models, connect coolant hoses by sliding each hose onto fitting as far as projection on fitting will allow.
