- Recover refrigerant.
- Remove lower instrument panels to access evaporator assembly.
- Disconnect and cap receiver and suction lines from evaporator assembly.
- Remove the glove compartment and frame, then disconnect the connector from the thermostat switch.
- Remove attaching screws, support bands, drain hose, then the evaporator, Fig. .
