DRIVELINE, U-JOINT & CV AXLES REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 1995 Hyundai Scoupe AUTOMOBILES
Includes CV axle, universal joint, and driveline replacement, for domestic and imported 1995 Hyundai Scoupe cars and light trucks from 1990+.
CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace
Vehicle: 1995 Hyundai Scoupe 1.5 L4 GAS
- Raise and support vehicle, then remove front wheel.
- Remove dust cover, cotter pin and driveshaft nut.
- Drain transmission oil.
- Disconnect lower arm ball joint from knuckle, then remove stabilizer and strut bars from lower arm.
- On models with driveshaft center bearing, remove bearing bracket attaching bolts.
- On all models, insert suitable pry bar between transmission case and driveshaft, then pry driveshaft from transmission. Do not pull on driveshaft and do not insert pry bar deep enough to damage oil seal.
