This type of front driveshaft is used for manual transaxle models.
LH Side Shaft
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove tires and wheels.
- Remove staking and driveshaft nut and washer.
- Drain transaxle oil into appropriate container.
- Using large size screwdrivers, pull out driveshaft joint. This will release snap ring fitting of joint spline at differential side, Fig. .
- Disconnect stabilizer joint from suspension arm.
- Remove ball stud bolt and nut, then separate suspension arm from knuckle.
- Remove driveshaft assembly.
