- If pressure does not return to normal, check for excessive charge of refrigerant in system. Recover refrigerant as outlined under , recharge with specified quantity of refrigerant and repeat test.
- If high pressure drops when condenser is cooled, check for improper air flow through condenser. Check for damaged or clogged condenser fins, and improper condenser fan operation.

Place vehicle on level ground with wheels blocked. Place transaxle in the Neutral position for manual transaxle models and in the Park position for automatic transaxle models during function test. Fuel System Pressure Relief
- Obtain the vehicle owners radio theft protection code prior to disconnecting the battery ground cable, if equipped.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Remove the fuel fill cap to release fuel tank pressure.
- On models less fuel filter service bolt, place a shop towel over the banjo bolt at top of fuel filter. Slowly loosen the banjo bolt one complete turn. When loosening the banjo bolt, use a backup wrench to hold the fuel filter in position.
