- Cut nylon ties securing fan motor wiring harness to main harness, then disconnect leads from fan motor.
- Disconnect motor ground wire from stud.
- Cut nylon tie securing fan motor harness to mounting frame.
- Remove fan motor mounting frame to fan cowl mounting bolts.
- Remove motor and frame from vehicle, then separate motor and frame assembly.
- Remove fan blade.
- Reverse procedure to install.

- Remove engine and reservoir tank pressure caps.
- Loosen air bleeder valve.
- Slowly fill system with coolant through engine filler cap, allowing air to flow through bleeder valve until reservoir tank is full.
- Install engine and reservoir tank pressure caps, then tighten air bleeder valve.
- Run engine for approximately three minutes with defroster set to 85°F.
- Turn engine off and open air bleeder valve. When all air is bleed from system, close bleeder valve and check coolant level.

- Remove screws securing harness clip and bracket.
- Remove screws securing vacuum hose clips, then disconnect return springs from operating levers.
- Remove screw securing lower flap operating lever to flap hinge, then the lever.
- Loosen screw securing operating rod from vacuum servo to flap operating lever on core cover.
