- Fully loosen adjuster (1) and remove shoe hold-down springs (7).
- Ease two shoes (2) complete with adjuster assembly away from torque plate (6).
- Remove adjuster upper return spring (4), brake shoes and lower return spring (3).
- Install new brake shoes with lower spring in position.
