- Loosen the wheel lug nuts.
- Raise and support the vehicle with jack stands, then remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove the tire valve cap and core and release the air from the tire.
- Separate the bead on the inside and outside of the tire, note the following:
- The bead breaker tool should not be used within 12 inch of the sensor valve in either direction.
- Position the shoe of the tool between 2 to 4 inches away from the sensor valve.
- The lever and tire must not come in contact with the sensor.
