Refer to Fig. for A/C condenser cooling fan terminal identification.

  • Turn ignition Off, then disconnect A/C condenser cooling fan connector.
  • Apply 12 volts to terminal three on fan, then ground terminal two. A/C condenser cooling fan should operate at low speed.
  • Apply 12 volts to terminal one on fan, then ground terminal two. Fan should operate at high speed.
  • If fan operates properly at both speeds, return to diagnostic tests. If fan does not operate properly, replace fan.
