- Drain cooling system into suitable container until radiator coolant level is below thermostat.
- Remove radiator hose at coolant outlet.
- Remove thermostat housing mounting bolts and ground wire, if applicable.
- Remove thermostat housing, thermostat and gasket.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
