- Loosen and remove drive belts.
- Remove compressor attaching bolts.
- Remove compressor. It is not necessary to remove refrigerant lines.
- Install two 6 mm bolts into threaded holes in clutch plate.
- Use two wrenches to prevent compressor shaft from turning, then remove compressor shaft bolt.
- Tap clutch plate with a plastic hammer and remove clutch plate and shims. Do not use pry tools to remove clutch plate.
