- Disconnect battery ground cable from battery.
- Loosen upper mounting through bolt.
- Loosen lower mounting bolt and adjustment lockbolt.
- Remove A/C compressor drive and alternator drive belt.
- Clean and inspect belt surfaces of all pulleys.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Torque alternator through bolt to 33 ft. lbs.
- Torque alternator adjustment locknut to 16 ft. lbs.

- Disconnect battery ground cable from battery.
