- Drain cooling system into suitable container.
- Open clamp, then disconnect heater valve cable from heater valve arm.
- Disconnect heater hoses from heater unit. Drain coolant from hoses into clean drip pan.
- Remove two mounting nuts from heater unit.
- Remove instrument panel as outlined under "Instrument Panel, Replace."
