- Open driver's door, or both doors if necessary, to allow side windows to drop. Ensure that doors remain open until after battery has been disconnected.
- Open engine compartment and fit paint work protection sheets.
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove battery cover.
- Drain coolant from radiator.
- Depressurize climate control system.
- Observe all safety warnings and precautions stated.
- Remove air cleaner assembly.
- Disconnect harness multiplug from cooling fan (working from under vehicle). Disconnect multiplug from high speed fan and reposition harness from retaining clip.
