- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove front wheel assembly.
- Remove brake caliper and disc brake attaching bolts, Fig. .
- Inspect backlash using suitable dial indicator, Fig. . Maximum deviation is .0020 inch, replace as required.
- Inspect deviation at surface of axle hub outside bolt, Fig. . Maximum backlash is .0028 inch, replace as required.
- Remove driveshaft lock nut.
- Remove ABS speed sensor.
- Loosen lower side shock absorber nuts, Fig. .
- Remove cotter pin and attaching nut from tie rod end to steering knuckle.
- Disconnect tie rod end from steering knuckle using service tool No. 0...
