Radiator, Replace
Vehicle: 1997 Volvo V90 2.9 L6 GAS
- Remove engine cooling fan.
- Disconnect charge air pipe from charge air cooler (CAC) on left-hand side (turbocharged engines only).
- If necessary, use a hot air gun to make removal easier.
- Remove screws for radiator unit on front cover plate.
- Remove two upper screws holding radiator unit together.
- Remove expansion tank cap.
- Block upper radiator hose with lock grip pliers.
- Raise vehicle.
- Remove air baffles.
- Remove lower oil cooler hose from radiator unit (automatics only).
- Note: Collect oil from oil cooler in a container.
