- Remove mounting bolt and tilt control module holder down.
- Turn lock 45° counterclockwise and remove cover.

The instrument cluster of some models may require re-coding after removal.

- Remove clips and remove lower lefthand instrument panel trim.
- Remove mounting bolts and radio.
- On models equipped with automatic transmission, remove mounting bolt, shifter handle and selector lever cover.
- On models equipped with manual transmission, pull shift lever knob off and remove cover.
- On all models, remove left and righthand mounting bolts and rubber gaiter, then push center console finisher strip back and remove up.

- Remove center lefthand front radiator grill by hitting lightly with fist and pulling chrome ring forward.
- Recover refrigerant as outlined under .

- Disconnect condenser lines and plug openings, Fig. .
- Remove mounting bolts and condenser.
