- Mark serpentine drive belt rotational direction for installation.
- Remove mounting nut and fan with coupling using holding tool No. 11-5-050, and open end wrench tool No. 11-5-040, or equivalents, Fig. . Lefthand threads.
- Remove dust cab, then push alternator drive belt tensioning device back on pulley bolt connection. Lefthand threads.
- Remove serpentine drive belt.
