- Drain cooling system into suitable container, then recover refrigerant as outlined under .
- Remove dash panel as outlined under "Dash Panel, Replace."
- Remove clamps and disconnect hoses from heater pipes, then remove bolt and disconnect lower pressure pipe from evaporator.
- Remove high and low pressure pipe "P" clip, then remove mounting bolt and disconnect high pressure pipe from evaporator.
- Disconnect electrical connector and remove blower unit, then remove bulkhead and tunnel mounting bolts.

- Remove fixings and remove battery cover.
- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Drain cooling system into suitable container.
- Remove upper fan cowl.
- Remove 2 screws securing lower half of fan cowl and remove cowl.
- Release clip and disconnect radiator top hose from radiator.
- Release clip and disconnect bleed hose from radiator.
- Remove front grille.
- Disconnect multiplug of gearbox oil temperature sensor. Remove clips and remove air deflectors front panel.
- Remove horns.
