- Remove exhaust system and heat shields.
- Disconnect cable from crossmember,
- Support transmission with suitable jack.
- Remove mounting bolts and crossmember.
- Remove transmission joint disk mounting nuts.
- Remove differential final drive flange constant-velocity joint mounting nuts.
- Disconnect constant-velocity joint by pressing off input flange with suitable screwdriver.
- Remove center bearing mounting bolts. Do not allow propeller shaft to fall into joints.
