Do not smoke or allow an open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel system related components. The highly flammable vapor mixtures may ignite, resulting in serious personal injury.
Prior to disconnecting fuel lines, the fuel system pressure must be relieved to prevent accidental spray of fuel.

- Remove wheel nuts and front wheel.
- Remove engine undercover bolts, then undercover.
- Remove hub nut. Discard hub nut and install a new one upon installation.
- Remove ball joint to steering knuckle clip and nut.
- Separate ball joint from steering knuckle using suitable tool. Failure to use recommended tool will cause damage to ball joint or ball joint seal.
- Remove tie rod nut and separate tie rod from steering knuckle. Failure to use recommended tool will cause damage to knuckle or strut assembly.
