- Remove heater/air distributor case assembly as outlined "Heater/Air Distributor Case Assembly, Replace."
- Remove heater/defroster motor lever and actuator rod.
- Remove heater/defroster motor attaching screws.
- Position motor aside to access heater core cover bolt and remove bolt.
- Remove foam insulation from tube base.
- Remove remaining actuator rod from motor lever.
- Remove heater core cover to heater/air distributor case attaching screws.
- Slowly separate lower heater core cove...
