- Partially drain coolant from cooling system into suitable container.
- Loosen hose clamp and disconnect radiator top hose from thermostat housing.
- Disconnect coolant temperature switch connector, then remove outlet elbow.
- Remove thermostat.
- Reverse procedure to install. Torque outlet elbow to 21 ft. lbs.

- Remove radio using radio removal tool Nos. SMD 4091 or equivalents.
- Release tabs securing radio chassis to center panel.
- Remove radio chassis, then the clock.
- Remove coin tray, then the heater control panel knobs.
- Remove heater graphic display panel.
- Remove four heater control unit attaching screws.
- Remove LED from center panel if equipped, then the seven center vent panel attaching screws and vent panel.
- Reverse procedure to install.
