  • Remove shaft nut or bolt, Fig. , with aid of spanner wrench.
  • Remove pressure plate using pressure plate remover.
  • Remove shims from shaft.
  • Remove rotor (pulley) retaining snap ring using suitable snap ring pliers.
  • Remove rotor (pulley) by gently tapping it with plastic hammer. Some compressors may require a jaw puller.
  • Disconnect stator lead wires from compressor housing.
  • Remove stator retaining snap ring using suitable snap ring pliers, then remove stator from compressor housing.
