- Place shift lever in neutral.
- Raise vehicle off ground and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Mark companion flange on front drive. Its recommended to use paint for reference marks. Never damage driveshaft flange and companion flange on front drive.
- Remove exhaust and transfer protectors.
- Remove bolts and then remove driveline from front final drive and transfer case.
- Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
- Torque driveline to transfer companion flange mounting bolts to 46 ...
