Vehicle: 2000 Mercury Mystique 2.5 V6 GAS
- On water pump drive belt, remove water pump pulley shield bolts from lefthand valve cover, then the shield from vehicle.
- Remove water pump drive pulley, then rotate water pump belt tensioner clockwise by hand.
- On accessory drive belt, rotate tensioner clockwise using breaker bar installed in 3/8 inch square hole in drive belt tensioner arm.
- On all drive belts, lift belt over pulley flanges, then remove from vehicle.
