- Disconnect heater inlet and outlet coolant pipes from heater unit.
- Remove instrument panel as outlined in "Instrument Panel, Replace."
- Disconnect heater ducts, Fig. .
- Disconnect wiring harness connectors to heater unit.
- Remove steering member assembly, then heater unit.
- Remove heater core from heater unit by sliding out from side.
- Reverse procedure to install.
