- Drain engine and radiator coolant.
- Remove drive belts, then idler pulley bracket.
- Remove lower radiator hose, then the water inlet, Fig. .
- Remove thermostat from thermostat housing.
- Reverse procedure to install.
Pathfinder & Quest
- Drain cooling system, then remove upper and lower radiator hoses.
- Remove fan shroud, then drive belts.
- Remove pulley bracket, then thermostat assembly, Fig. .
- Reverse procedure to install ensuring jiggle valve is at upper side.
