- Remove glove compartment.
- Remove No. 2 instrument undercover.
- Remove ECM and ECU with bracket.
- Remove blower unit.
- Recover refrigerant as outlined under .
- Disconnect liquid tube and suction tube.
- Remove thermistor from evaporator.
- Remove evaporator cover.
- Pull out evaporator.
- Reverse procedure to install, then recover and recharge system and check for leaks. If evaporator is replaced, add 1.4 oz. of new refrigerant oil to compressor.

Remove defective components. Add the proper amount of oil to each replacement component. Most recovery/recycling equipment will measure the amount of oil being removed. This is the amount of oil to be added back to the system, follow manufactures instructions provided with the recovery/recycling station.
