- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove front tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove one bolt and Antilock Brake System (ABS) speed sensor from steering knuckle (if equipped).
- Unstake wheel drive shaft nut.
- Remove wheel drive shaft nut and washer.
- Wheel drive shaft boots, seals and clamps should be protected from sharp objects any time service is performed on or near wheel drive shaft(s). Damage to boot(s), seal(s) or clamp(s) may result in lubricant leaking from joint and lead to increased noise from wheel drive shaft and possible failure of wheel drive shaft.
