BRAKE SERVICE PROCEDURES FOR 2001 Honda Civic AUTOMOBILES
Includes anti-lock brakes, disc, drum, power and hydraulic brake services diagnostics and procedures for domestic and imported 2001 Honda Civic cars and light trucks from 1990+.
Anti-lock Brakes -> Description -> Accumulator -> Control Unit -> Master Cylinder -> Modulator Unit -> Operation -> Power Unit -> Pressure Switch -> Speed Sensor -> System Components

This prevents the wheels from locking, whenever they are likely to be locked due to excessive braking. It then restores normal hydraulic pressure when there is no longer any possibility of wheel locking. The system has a fail safe function that allows normal braking if there is a problem within the system.
