Includes CV axle, universal joint, and driveline replacement, for domestic and imported 2001 Honda S2000 cars and light trucks from 1990+.
CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace -> Front -> Rear
Vehicle: 2001 Honda S2000 2.0 L4 GAS
Front
- Loosen wheel nuts slightly.
- Raise vehicle off ground and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and rear wheels.
- Lift up locking tab on spindle nuts then remove nut.
- Remove cotter pin from lower arm ball joint castle nut and remove nut.
- Separate ball joint from lower arm using suitable tool.
- Remove ABS sensor harness from upper arm.
- Place reference mark across inboard joint and rear differential.
- Pull knuckle outward and remove driveshaft outboard joint from wheel hub using plastic hammer.
- Remove driveshaft.
