- Remove wheel/tire assembly.
- Remove brake hose from caliper and cap brake line(s).
- Remove caliper assembly as outlined under, "Brake Pad Service."
Disassemble
- Remove sleeve, sleeve boot and pin boots, Fig. .
- Protect fingers with shop towel, then blow piston from caliper bore with compressed air.
- Remove piston boot, then pry piston seal from caliper bore using a suitable screwdriver.
Assemble
- Clean all components with suitable cleaner.
- Inspect caliper bore, piston and carrier for damage or excessive wear.
- Apply suitable rubber grease to new piston seal, then install piston s...
