Before removing driveshaft, disconnect ABS wheel sensor to prevent damage to sensor. Cover boots with shop towel to prevent damage when removing driveshaft.
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Remove cotter pin and driveshaft castle nut and washer from front hub.

Before removing driveshaft, disconnect ABS wheel sensor to prevent damage to sensor. Cover boots with shop towel to prevent damage when removing driveshaft.
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Remove brake caliper assembly and rotor. Do not disconnect brake hose from caliper. Suspend caliper assembly with mechanics wire to prevent brake hose from stretching. Do not depress brake pedal when caliper is removed from rotor or brake piston will eject from caliper.
