- Remove front disc brakes in numbered sequence as required, Fig. .
- Reverse procedure to install. Tighten bolts and wheel lug nuts to specifications.
Sedona
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove tire and wheel.
- Remove caliper mounting bolts, then position caliper aside using suitable wire or rope.
- Remove pads from caliper.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Use brake expander tool No. 0K130 430 017, or equivalent, when inserting new pads.
- Bleed brake system as outlined in "Hydraulic Brake Systems."
Sephia & Spectra

- Disconnect brake lines from master cylinder and ABS control unit using flare nut wrench tool No. OK130 430 019, or equivalent.
- Plug all open lines and ports to prevent entry of dirt or debris.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

Connect a suitably programmed scan tool to DLC and follow manufacturer's instructions.
Less Scan Tool
- Ensure ignition is Off.
- Connect a suitable jumper wire to engine compartment Data Link Connector (DLC) terminals "i" and "r," Fig. .
- Turn ignition On.
- Observe and record ABS warning lamp flashes.
- DTCs will be displayed from lowest to highest.
