- Disconnect brake lines from master cylinder and ABS control unit using flare nut wrench tool No. OK130 430 019, or equivalent.
- Plug all open lines and ports to prevent entry of dirt or debris.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Place adjustment gauge tool No. OK370 430 018, or equivalent, onto master cylinder, Fig. .

- Reverse procedure to install. Tighten bolts and wheel lug nuts to specifications.
Sedona
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove tire and wheel.
- Remove caliper mounting bolts, then position caliper aside using suitable wire or rope.
- Remove pads from caliper.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Use brake expander tool No. 0K130 430 017, or equivalent, when inserting new pads.
- Bleed brake system as outlined in "Hydraulic Brake Systems."

Component Replacement
Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU)
- Disconnect HCU electrical connectors.
- Disconnect brake line fittings at HCU using a suitable flare nut wrench.
- Plug all open lines and ports to prevent entry of dirt or debris.
- Remove HCU mounting bracket bolt and nut, then the HCU.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Torque HCU mounting bracket bolt and nut to 12-20 ft. lbs.
- Torque brake line fittings to 10-16 ft. lbs.
- Bleed brakes as outlined under "Brake System Bleed."
