- Drain engine coolant into suitable container.
- Remove righthand lower splash shield.
- Remove drive belts.
- Remove alternator and air conditioner compressor.
- Remove two coolant tube mounting bolts and rear of water pump, Fig. .
- Remove mounting bolts and water pump.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Install new gasket.
- Apply continuous bead of suitable RTV silicone sealant to mating surfaces.
- Tighten mounting bolts to specifications, Fig. .
