Leak Test
- Connect suitable R-134a refrigerant recovery/recycling/charging system to vehicle following manufacturer's instructions.
- Open high pressure valve to charge system to about 98 kPa, then close supply valve.
- Check system for leaks using suitable R-134a refrigerant leak detector with accuracy of .5 oz. per year or better.
- If leaks are found requiring system to be opened to repair or replace hoses, fittings, etc., recover system.
- After checking and repairing leaks, evacuate system.
