- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and rear wheels.
- Disconnect ABS wheel sensor to prevent damage of sensor. Cover boots with shop towel to prevent damage when removing driveshaft assembly.
- Remove cotter pin and driveshaft castle nut and washer from front hub. Discard old cotter pin and install a new one.
