- Remove accessory drive belt, water pump pulley and crankshaft pulley.
- Remove upper and lower timing belt covers, then the timing belt tensioner.
- Remove water pump mounting bolts and the alternator brace.
- Remove water pump.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Torque water pump mounting bolts to 14-20 ft. lbs.
- Torque timing belt lower cover outer bolts to 84-108 inch lbs.
